Giving to a Needy Elderly on the Street

It was raining heavily at AMK Hub at 6 plus and the sheltered walkway to AMK Central is crowded with people. A thin and frail looking old man (looks to be in his 70s) was squatting by the side of the walkway and asking for money. It was a very pitiful sight to watch. I reached into my wallet and found the last note I had, a $10 note, and passed it to him. I hope it can feed him for a day or two and that his life would gradually get better. We can all give simple acts of kindness like this, it can make someone's day brighter, better and happier. At the same time, it also made ours happier :)
